Late Sri Gudivada Ramachandra Rao
Great personalities engage themselves in a smooth metamorphosis as they move from success in one field towards success in various other fields. The success-filled lifestyle of Sri Gudivada Ramachandra Rao, our Founder Chairman, best exemplifies this fact. The saga of success began 60 years ago when he ventured into the Rice Mill Industry and carved a niche for himself as an Industrialist par Excellence. His successful journey elevated him to the post of President, Krishna District Rice Miller’s Association, where he served for 30 years. He was also the Past President of Lion’s Club, MTM.
Philanthropist by nature and an educationist to the core, right from his college days, he has been nurturing a dream of establishing an educational institute in the cause of rural youth. His tryst with destiny resulted in diversifying his activities to the educational field as a service to the rural area. Thus, SVIET, his long-cherished brain-child, was born.
Sri Ramachandra Rao is a ‘Fully human, Fully alive’ personality with a rich blend of visionary ideals, missionary zeal, a proactive approach to men and matters, the Midas touch, and a human face. He possesses a rare sense of educational enthusiasm, financial wisdom, and a practical plan of action. “Success is a journey, not a destination. It is not just an achievement, which is static, but an ever-ending pursuit of man.” Sri Gudivada Meher Prasad Garu, the Chairman of Sri Vasavi Institute of Engineering and Technology, personifies this pursuit and happiness.
As a philanthropist and educationist, he dreamt of establishing an educational institute that would become a top-class technology institute, a pride of Machilipatnam, and Krishna district. With administrative experience and a human face, he transformed into a full-fledged educationist, contributing to the growth of Sri Vasavi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
With his leadership, SVIET aims to achieve excellence and provide quality education, nurturing students to become future leaders.

Abdul Kalam once said, “Vision ignites the mind.” It is this vision that drives Sri T Meher Baba, our Secretary, to produce engineers who possess competence, conscience, compassion, and commitment. With an unwavering desire to achieve excellence, Sri Meher Baba, a renowned industrialist, philanthropist, and inspired educational visionary, is determined to make the college a center of learning that matches global standards.
Serving as the Secretary of the Jaycees Club, MTM Chapter, and Vice-president of the Rice-Millers’ Association, MTM, Sri Meher Baba is an entrepreneur by choice and an eager educationist at heart. He leads by example, inspiring the youth with his sense of commitment, discipline, and industriousness.

Riding high after reaching the peaks as an Engineer and counting on his 37 years of rich industrial exposure in L&T, India, and Texmaco Group of Companies in Indonesia, Sri K Kumar Babu is a man on a mission.
Ever-vigilant and always available on the campus, Sri Kumar Babu understands the importance of nurturing a serene, intellectually-driven, and academically-rich environment. The sprawling campus, landscaped to perfection, and state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities are all a tribute to his working style. Modest to the core, he lets his work speak for itself. The aesthetic look of the campus stands as a testimony to his caliber and commitment.

Sri Tammana Sai Kumar
“Educationists should build the capacities of the spirit of enquiry, creativity, entrepreneurial and moral leadership among students and become their role models,” says Abdul Kalam. With the aim of achieving excellence through educational leadership, Sri Tammana Sai Kumar, our Executive Director, is pioneering to fortify the engineering education to suit industry standards.
Sri Sai Kumar comes with a rich experience of 8 years in various prestigious engineering colleges and carries a cool head on his shoulders. He has pursued his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Andhra University and M.Phil. from Annamalai University. With him at the helm of affairs as the Executive Director, SVIET is bound to go on the path of success.

Sri Dosapati Baba
“Vision is that art of seeing what is invisible to others,” Jonathan Swift said. Action with vision is making a positive difference. Sri Dosapati Baba, Executive Director, is a proactive personality who wishes to mold the minds of the students, bring about desired changes, and create a group of people dynamic in nature and versatile in stature.
Sri Baba has done his M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Physics from Pondicherry Central University. With four years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Physics, he understands the needs of the student community, and his willingness to cater to their needs augurs well for the college.
PRINCIPAL
Dr. B. Raja Srinivasa Reddy
Dr. B. Raja Srinivasa Reddy, a Passionate Teacher, committed Researcher, successful Administrator, and an Appreciable Academician. He has done his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, AP. He has published 36 papers in Scopus Indexed Journals besides presented several Research Papers in various National and International Conferences and acted as Chair. He acted as a Resource Person for UGC Sponsored Faculty Development Programs. He is a Registered Ph.D. Guide in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, A.P. Six Students were awarded Ph.D. under his able guidance. At Present, he is guiding two Ph.D. Scholars. He is a senior member of CSI and a Life Member of ISTE. He has got Three Patents to his Credit. He is Honored with the National Mahatma Gandhi Santhi Seva Ratna Award, Manam Foundation, Proddutur, YSR Kadapa for 2021.
