Functions Of Cell
- To ensure the availability of electricity in the campus.
- To have a procedure to maintain electric equipment.
- To ensure timely availability of medical facilities and first aid kit.
- To maintain academic buildings, hostels, and the campus.
- To ensure the safety of buildings through fire extinguishers, earthing pits, safety checks of potable water, etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Roles & Responsibilities of electrical maintenance cell coordinator:
- To coordinate electrical maintenance and safety activities and community demands.
- To coordinate internal resources available in the form of teaching expertise of teachers for enhancing the knowledge and skills of the students in implementation of the maintenance and safety
- To coordinate various external resources available in the forms of government services; welfare agencies and voluntary bodies for the success of the electrical maintenance cell.
Roles & Responsibilities of Faculty Members:
- To prepare orientation programme for electrical maintenance and safety, explain them about the concept of safety during the electric shocks and maintenance, and teach them methods and skills required for achieving them;
- To promote community education through meetings, talks, news bulletins discussions etc.;
